One of our objectives is to assist sales of goods from very small producers who struggle to find a market for their products.

We are making a small start in helping a group of three women in Northern Albania to sell lavender bags, made using sewing machines kindly donated from the UK. The lavender is from organically grown mountain lavender – an acre was planted as shown, last year.

Lavender is a lovely traditional and calming aroma which can be renewed by massaging the bags, which releases more of the essential oils. Use in clothes drawers, on coat hangers, in your car – calming if stuck in a traffic jam -  or keep by your computer, for a soothing sniff when the thing crashes again!

We will mail you an envelope containing four x 25g lavender bags for £6.00

The women receive 70p for each bag and the balance is used to cover costs and support this charitable development work.

New products – we are working with our partners on a computer mouse pad and keyboard pad filled with fresh dried lavender – these will be available in the Autumn. We are also considering small bedside hand woven carpets made by a group of women in a village where there is no other work at all.
