The Basic Steps of Starting a Microbusiness
Starting a new business is not for everyone! It is very demanding of time and energy and you may make little or no income in the first year. But the rewards of developing a successful small business such that you have a sustainable income for yourself , your family and can help others is thrilling and uplifting experience.
When you have thought carefully about what goods you could make to sell or what service you could provide that people would be willing to pay for, you will need to:
RESEARCH - your product or service, the market, your competition, sources of any materials needed and who you will be able to sell to. See Training Modules 1 & 2
PLAN - decide what your business will do, what it will cost to start and how profitable it should be See Training Module 3
FUND - if you need to find money to start, decide the minimum you will need and where the money will come from
START - start small, with a good plan and sufficient money to start your enterprise!
